Great Britain’s trio of snowboarders fell short in landing a medal on the seventh day of the Pyeongchang Paralympic Winter Games.
James Barnes-Miller, Ben Moore and Owen Pick, who all missed out on a podium place in snowboard cross earlier this week, again fell short of a medal in the banked slalom.
Moore finished highest of the trio after placing seventh, while Barnes-Miller, who fell on his final run, finished 10th in the SB-UL class. Pick was ninth in the SB-LL2.
Moore became the first British boarder to win a World Championship medal, but he hinted his participation at future Paralympic Games is unlikely.
“I’ll definitely be snowboarding in four years’ time but a lot of athletes are calling time now at this level and maybe I will join that group,” Moore said.
“Coaching is on my mind and I want the sport to progress and I’m excited to see how Great Britain does and how many people take up the sport.
“I’ve participated in the X-Games in 2015 and that’s still not settled so I think I’ll wake up one morning and think that was one hell of a ride.”
Great Britain remain on five medals with only two days of competition in Pyeongchang remaining.
