Braintree Town goalkeeper Ben Killip kept a clean sheet as he became the latest Iron to claim international honours with the England C team.
The 22-year-old stopper was picked by England manager Paul Fairclough to start in his side's game against Estonia Under-23s at Leyton Orient and made sure no goals went past him before being substituted early in the second half.
England dominated the game and won it 1-0 thanks to an Alfie Pavey penalty in the 65th minute after a foul on Laurence Maguire.
Killip's call-up meant he became the second Iron keeper to earn honours with Fairclough's England C team, after Nathan McDonald faced Russia in 2012 and he is following in the footsteps of a number of other players, including Kenny Davis, Chez Isaac and Sam Habergham, to have played for the national side while with the Iron.
