ECHOSPORT talks to Accrington Stanley supporter Kieran Holden ahead of tomorrow’s game at the Crown Ground.

Accrington are currently 17th in the League One table but what has been your take on the season so far?

“I think that on the whole it’s been quite a steady season for us so far.

“There have been the usual ups and downs but before the last couple of games we had been on a good run and the 7-1 win we had against Bolton Wanderers is still very close to my heart.”

What were the hopes for Accrington this season and what do you think can still be achieved?

“As long as we stay up I’ll be happy and we’re seven points clear of the relegation zone at the moment. I always think all teams should be aiming high at the start of the season and try to look at promotion. We could still go on a run but staying up is what matters most and I’m confident we can do that.”

Who would you say is Accrington’s dangerman?

“I would say it’s Colby Bishop or Sam Finley.

“Bishop has got 12 goals already this season and he’s been doing well.

“He got the winner against Southend in September so it would be great if he could do the same tomorrow. Finley plays in midfield and he’s been having a good season too.”

What’s the team news for the weekend?

“Now that Bishop is fit there are no real concerns in the team apart from Sean McConville which would be a massive loss for a game we can definitely get three points from.”

Predicted line-up: Bursik, Johnson, Hughes, Sykes, Opoku, Clark, Seamus, Finley, Pritchard, Bishop, Zanzala
