CHELMSFORD City make the long trip to Cornwall this weekend as they kick-off their new National League South campaign at Truro City.
The Clarets signed off their pre-season campaign with a 1-1 draw at home to Dover Athletic on Saturday.
Neither side were able to take control in the early stages but former City striker Ricky Modeste made the breakthrough for Dover in the 37th minute.
He latched on to a near-post corner and fired into the bottom corner.
Chelmsford were back on terms in the 49th minute when Robbie Willmott’s free kick from the left was bundled in at the far post by Mark Haines.
City dominated the remainder of the match but were unable to find the winning goal.
