Crowds gathered at Anglia Ruskin University for TEDxChelmsford.
With 16 speakers talking for no longer than 18 minutes each on subjects that included How Afternoon Tea Could Save The World by Jane Malyon, founder of English Cream Tea Company to Bounceability + Happiness = Good Times by James Sinclair, founder of The Partyman Company.
The speaker line up also included the talented Irrah Carver-Jones, a sixth-form student at Chelmsford County High School for Girls and Nikhil Shah from King Edwards VI Grammar School.
The participation of the audience was amazing, they really engaged with the speakers - some had them laughing, others crying and there was plenty of interaction. There was certainly plenty to go away and think about at the end of the day - which is exactly what TEDx talks are for.
