Police are appealing for witnesses after a pensioner was punched in the face by a cyclist.
The 70-year-old man, from Chelmsford, was attacked while waiting for a bus in Parkway at 4.55pm on Wednesday, September 17.
The man challenged the cyclist as he was going through a crowd, before being punched in the face.
He was knocked to the ground and was helped by other members of the public, before being treated in hospital for the facial injuries as well as a fracture to his leg.
The suspect is described as white, of heavy build, 30-40-years-old. He was wearing a white t-shirt.
