One final letter regarding the proposed new power station at Bradwell. I am hoping one of the knowledgeable people who previously wrote in will be able to put my and maybe other people’s minds to rest and help with a couple of questions.
If Britain’s energy consumption is dropping, why is a new power station even being considered? Then there’s the vast amount of money the Government has spent on decommissioning Bradwell A, so with the industry’s claimed green credentials like caring and putting the environment back to its natural state, why have the pylons which has previously been suggested are no longer fit for purpose and rather a blot on the landscape been left in place?
