A DRIVER has been reported for driving offences after a car crashed into a maisonette in Chelmsford.

The crash happened in Bramwoods Road, Meadgate, Great Baddow, last Thursday, at 3.30pm.

Two people in the maisonette were uninjured.

The male driver of the blue Mercedes car was trapped in his vehicle and the fire service attended, but he did not suffer any serious injuries.

The property belongs to Chelmer Housing Partnership and spokeswoman Victoria Norton said the residents were temporarily rehoused.

Structural engineers and loss adjusters attended and found the property had not suffered any structural damage.
