I AM most upset at the new frontage to Colchester General Hospital (“Loyal hospital charity warns it’s at ‘critical’ risk of closure”).
I was there recently and thought I had strayed into a motorway service area with its attendant shops.
The League of Friends, after 70 years of selfless service, is being pushed to the brink to make more profit. What price is loyalty?
And in the same issue, we have a leading councillor and member of the cabal - oh, sorry, cabinet - running Colchester complaining about the “contracting out of NHS services”.
Comes to the same thing, doesn’t it?
Buy some clothes and a coffee, and, while you’re here, visit a patient. Bah, humbug!
