Ryanair have cut flights to northern Italy after the country went into lockdown to avoid a coronavirus spread.
The airline, which operates from Southend and Stansted airport, has announced a cancellation of all flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
From Friday to Monday, Ryanair are only operating one flight to places like Milan and Venice.
The reduced schedule will be introduced this Friday (March 13), and all affected passengers have reportedly recieved email notices warning them of the changes.
The Foreign Office have advised travellers to only visit Italy if essential.
Southend Airport and Ryanair have been contacted for comment.
