A FULL investigation has been launched by workplace safety inspectors after a man appeared to fall from the fourth storey of a building.

Onlookers said a man was injured in Hawkins Road, Colchester, in October after plunging from an under-construction apartment block.

He was flown to Addenbrooke's Hospital with serious injuries to his legs.

In the days after the investigation, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) said they were making initial inquiries but have now confirmed a full investigation is underway.

No date has been set for the conclusion of it.
