A man and a woman have been charged with fraud and drugs offences following police action day in Chelmsford.
Acting on information and in response to concerns from members of the public, officers executed search warrants at two addresses in Courtlands and Meadgate Avenue on Wednesday, December 6.
Corie Riddles, 25, a bricklayer, of Courtlands, was arrested and charged with fraud by false representation; possession of articles for use in fraud; acquiring, using or possession of criminal property; making an article for use in fraud; possession of cannabis.
Alexis Riddles, 24, a nursing assistant, of Meadgate Avenue, Chelmsford was charged with possession of articles for use in fraud; making an article for use in fraud; acquiring, using or possession of criminal property; and possession of cannabis.
Both are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today, Friday December 8.
