A NEW emergency vehicle has been launched to help people who are critically ill or injured throughout Essex.
The BASICS Essex Accident Rescue Service (BEARS) team have purchased a new enhanced care car which will be used to tend to patients across the county.
A launch for the new car, which was attended by Lord Petre the Lord-Lieutenant for Essex, at Hylands House.
The funds for the car, which was fully operational immediately after the launch on April 7, were raised by members of the public and runners from Essex who take part in the London Marathon in aid of the charity.
