BARHOUSE in Chelmsford is celebrating rocking for five months with a black and gold theme for its New Year’s Eve event.

The line up to celebrate the start of 2009 will include electro punksters DJ set Dead Kids, Niyi and live bands Cat House and Pikey Esquire, Chelmsford Ravers DJs and Korkus DJs.

Barhouse in Victoria Road opened its doors five months ago with bands like Magistrates, Towers of London, Cat House and Cheeky Cheeky & The Nosebleeds all gracing the stage.

There were also DJ sets from renowned artists such as Leeroy Thornhill (Prodigy), James Priestley (Secretsundaze) & Worthy (Dirtybird).

To show thanks for the support received from all the local and national bands and DJs, Barhouse celebrates the new year with a line up of friends and past guests who have all played before and helped make the opening of the club so memorable.

Those attending are encouraged to dress up in anything that is black or gold and there will be a prize for the best outfit.

Tickets are £12 in advance and £15 on the night and the club will be open from 8pm to 6am..
