A VACCINATION centre is urging more people to volunteer as it begins to ramp up the booster jab programme.
The vaccination centre at Maldon District Council offices is in need of more volunteers.
Clinic sessions run as often as 7 days a week for up to 12 hours a day. This cannot be achieved without the support of volunteers.
There are a range of volunteering roles on offer and shifts are broken up into periods of 4 hours.
There are no ‘sit down’ roles, so volunteers should be able to stand for the duration of their shift.
To help in the latest push to get the community vaccinated, apply to be a volunteer at bit.ly/MaldonCVSRegistrationform.
To book your first, second, or booster dose of the Covid vaccine visit nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination.
You can also find a walk-in Covid vaccination site on the NHS website.
