A DRINK driver has been banned from the roads for more than a year.
Luis Samuel Da Silva, 38, of Cross Road, Maldon, was caught driving in Heybridge on October 31 while over the legal alcohol limit.
He was found to have 57mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath.
The legal limit is 35mcg.
Da Silva admitted to drink driving at Chelmsford Magistrates Court and was banned from the roads for 15 months.
He was fined £120, ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and costs of £105.
