DRIVERS should be aware of a busy road closing for 33 days.

Hastings Avenue and Selsey Avenue in Clacton are set to close from their junction with West Road to the junction with Burnham Court on November 22.

This is while new sewer installation works works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

  • Another road in Thorpe-le-Soken is set to close.

Frinton Road will close for seven days while Essex County Council carry out pipe repair works.

It will close from its junction with Damarts Farm Lane on November 16.

  • Get set for a road closure in Fordham.

Fossetts Lane will close for four days from its junction with Mill Road.

The closure will start on November 9 while broadband installation works are undertaken by County Broadband Ltd.

  • Drivers should be aware of another nine-day road closure.

Turkey Cock Lane, in Eight Ash Green, is set to close from its junction with Daisy Green on November 8.

  • Carriageway patching works will cause a multiple road closure in Boxted and Langham.

Landgam Road in Boxted and Longham and Moor Road in Langham will close on November 24.

The roads will be shut for three days from the junction with Severells Lane to the junction with Chapel Road.

  • Some overhead cabling works are set to be carried out in the village of Mount Bures.

This will close Chappel Road and Hall Road from November 25 for one day.

They are set to be closed from the junction with Takeleys for a distance of approximately 400m in a north easterly direction.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works are undertaken by Openreach.

  • A road in the village of Chappel is set to close for one day.

Oak Road will close from its junction with Chappel Hill for a distance of approximately 125m in a westerly direction on November 26.

This is while UK Power Networks carry out pole replacement works. An alternative route is available via Oak Road, Swan Street, Popes Lane and vice versa.

  • Get ready for a one-day road closure in Little Clacton.

Holland Road is set to close from its junction with Lodge Lane for a distance of approximately 430m in a south easterly direction.

It will close on November 9 as Openreach carry out overhead cable works.

  • Openreach is also set to carry out pole replacement works in West Bergholt.

This will force Lexden Road to close on Sunday, October 31, for one day.

It will close from its junction with Hall Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a south westerly direction.

  • Drivers can also expect to see four roads have their speed limits reduced.

An order will see the current national speed limit of 60mph reduced to 40mph on lengths of the A1124 Halstead Road Roundabout.

They include both carriageways from Finch Road on the Stanway Western Bypass to the junction with A1124, Essex Yeomanry Way. Both carriageways of the A1124 will see a reduced speed limit.

The A1124 Halstead Road/Essex Yeomanry Way Roundabout for the entire circulatory of the roundabout and both carriageways of the A1124 Halstead Road, from the junction with the roundabout in a northerly direction will also be reduced in speed.
