A man appeared in court charged in connection with an incident where a 13-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in Maldon High Street
A MAN has appeared in court charged in connection with an incident where a teenage girl was sexually assaulted.
Essex Police was called to reports a 13 year-old girl had been approached and touched by a man in Maldon High Street shortly before 5pm on June 13 2020.
The girl managed to get herself to safety.
Pedro Sarracayo, 60, of Washington Close, Maldon was arrested and later charged with sexual assault.
He appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on August 18 and is next due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on September 15.
