A CHARITY is offering support for residents in the area who are hard of hearing.

Hearing Help Essex, which is based in Chelmsford, is providing support to people in Heybridge, Burnham, Danbury and Chelmsford who have suffered hearing loss.

The charity says it can offer services using social distancing for those with hearing loss who need help and wear NHS hearing aids.

They are also offering NHS hearing aid support, which provides cleaning and re-tubing, information.

Venues across the Maldon area are now ready to see people on an appointment-only basis.

They are at the Burnham on Crouch Community Health Clinic, Danbury Mission, the Plantation Hall in Heybridge and the Chelmsford Resource Centre.

Dates for these venues vary so residents must contact the charity for more information.

CEO Todorina Hammond said: “We are delighted to be in a position to help Essex residents with hearing loss and look forward to supporting as many people as we can.”

To make an appointment at any of the venues, call 01245 496347 or email info@hearinghelpessex.org.uk. Visit hearinghelpessex.org.uk for more information.
