THE Rotary Club of Bingley Airedale have remained active during the coronavirus pandemic, supporting causes in Bingley.

Substantial funds have been provided to both Bingley Food Bank and Bingley Community Kitchen, enabling them to provide much-needed help to those most in need of support at this difficult time.

Bingley Food Bank is open Tuesday and Fridays 10.30am to 11.45am at Bingley Arts Centre during the pandemic.

The Bingley Community Kitchen, at Trinity All Saints CE Primary School, was formally opened by Look North presenter Harry Gration in June last year and was blessed by the Bishop of Bradford, The Rt Revd Dr Toby Howarth.

Bingley is where most of this branch of the Rotary Club’s donations are made.

Additionally, Rotary Certificates of Appreciation during Covid-19 have been awarded to: Bingley Food Bank; Community Kitchen; Diane Watts (Embrace Child Victims Charity); Kathy & Keith Hughes (Bingley Community Kitchen).
