CHILDREN of the 1980s and 90s have been given a trip down memory lane with a series of nostalgic tweets ahead of its reopening.
The National Science and Media Museum has tweeted about children’s TV favourite puppet, Gordon the Gopher, a Spice Girls Polaroid camera plus Baby Spice advert for it and a 1989 Game Boy advert.
These tweets were to promote the museum reopening to the public on Wednesday, August 19.
So here are those tweets and prepare for a nostalgia overload, if you really, really want:
Step back to 1989 and rejoice in the memories of the days and weeks (maybe even months) lost to Tetris or Super Mario Land on the brand new Nintendo Game Boy.

Here’s the original UK advert for the Game Boy.https://t.co/TfTFxA8UIO
And for those of you unfamiliar with Gordon’s work, here he is in his last appearance on kid's TV show Going Live! with his regular sidekick Phillip Schofield (what's he doing these days? Nothing as cool as being in a National Museum we're sure)https://t.co/4GKoSpDbJ5
