BRADFORD is set to be hotter than New York later this week, as we can look forward to the return of the heat.
The last few days have been a bit cloudy in Bradford, but all that is set to change come Friday.
The mercury is set to hit 28C on Friday, as a mini heatwave reaches us, beat New York on the same day which reaches a high of 26C, according to the Met Office.
This is part of a wave of hot weather sweeping across Europe on Friday, with scorching temperatures expected including 38C in Madrid.
Today will see a mixture of sunshine and cloudy conditions in Bradford, as temperatures reach a maximum of 23C. But there will be a strong chance of showers at 4pm.
After a sunny morning, tomorrow will be largely cloudy later with temperatures improving up to 22C.
But Bradford will bask in the heat on Friday, with dry, bright conditions all day.
The weekend is expected to be dry and sunny, but a little cooler.
