A BRADFORD hotel has won a prestigious national travellers' choice award based on guest reviews.
Dubrovnik Hotel has been recognized as a 2020 Travelers’ Choice award-winner for Hotels by the Tripadvisor website.
Based on a full year of Tripadvisor reviews, prior to any changes caused by the coronavirus pandemic, award winners are known for consistently receiving great guest feedback, placing them in the top 10 per cent of hospitality businesses around the globe.
It is the latest accolade for the Dubrovnik after it claimed the Hotel of the Year prize at the Telegraph & Argus's Retail, Leisure and Hospitality Awards: Hotel of the Year held at The Broadway in November last year. This prize also coincided with the hotel's 40th anniversary celebrations which took place the following month.
The independently owned business, based in Oak Avenue, has been run by the Basic family since 1979.
Ned Basic, Dubrovnik Hotel general manager, says the staff at the site are especially proud of the achievement given the ongoing Covid-19 crisis.
He said: "We are very proud to have received this award and feel it demonstrates our ongoing commitment to excellence in service, both regionally and nationally.

The Dubrovnik is Bradford’s best independent hotel, located to the north of the city centre.
It has 31 en-suite rooms, including standard and superior rooms or the suite room types.
Its on-site bar and restaurant is recognised for excellent service and quality, featuring a wide range of freshly prepared locally sourced produce.
The hotel holds a licence for civil ceremonies and have hosted many successful weddings on site.
