THREE drugs arrests were made after police raided a business in Cheney Manor Industrial Estate.

A 27-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs after police executed a warrant on July 9.  A 17-year-old boy from Swindon and a 37-year-old woman from Tidworth were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A and B drugs.

The trio have since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

On the same day, a second warrant was carried out by officers at an address in Upper Stratton but nobody was at the property at the time.

Sergeant Richard Tottle said:  "These warrants are an excellent example of intelligence led proactive policing.

"Members of the public coming forward to assist us in the first instance leads to action of this nature.

"Your information is vital to help us in our work to stop drug dealing in our town.

"Even if you think the information you have may be very minor, it is always worth reporting as it could be the missing piece in a bigger jigsaw which could help us disrupt a major chain of drug supply or it may help us identify a vulnerable person who may be being exploited.
