A man has been arrested after a shop was targeted in an overnight burglary.
Officers arrested a man within 30 minutes of the Basildon burglary, which took place at around 1.20am.
The arrest comes after the team received reports that an alarm had been activated at Three Mobile in Town Square during the early hours of this morning (June 29).

Police, who also received information that a vehicle had driven off from the scene, managed to identify the car and the address before forcing entry and arresting a man inside.
A number of phones have been seized and a 38-year-old remains in custody on suspicion of burglary.
