Out of contract - Six Southend United players are waiting to find out if they will be offered new deals
SOUTHEND United's retained/released list will now not be announced until Wednesday.
Six Shrimpers players are out of contract at the end of the week.
But Blues will not be going public with their decisions until they know the squad members have received letters which have been posted out to them.
Defenders John White and Joe Shaughnessy, midfielders Luke Hyam and Sam Mantom and wingers Sam Barratt and Stephen McLaughlin are those who will soon be out of contract at Roots Hall.
Decisions regarding their futures had orginally been expected on Tuesday.
