SOUTHEND United manager Sol Campbell is among the bookmakers favourites for the Bolton Wanderers job.
Bolton, who were relegated from League One alongside Blues last season, are on the look out for a new boss following Keith Hill's departure.
And Campbell is now 7/4 to replace him.
Barrow boss Ian Evatt is currently favourite for the job but Tobias Phoenix, Bolton's head of football operations, was an executive advisor to Campbell when he was at Macclesfield Town.
Campbell has been Blues boss since last October but the club have not been approached directly by Bolton for permission to talk to the 45-year-old.
