One lane closed in both directions on A127
One lane has been closed on the A127 in both directions.
The lane which runs between the Rayleigh Weir Interchange (A129) and Progress Road towards Southend, and the lane which runs between Kent Elms Corner and Progress Road towards London has been closed due to construction.
Traffic is slow on the Southend-bound carriageway, with queues running back to the Rayleigh Weir Interchange.
One lane has also been closed on the A127 towards Southend between the M25 (J29) and the Halfway House (A128) due to emergency pothole repair work being carried out.
Commuters are advised to avoid the area and find an alternative route if possible.
