Shoezone in Braintree High Street
Another High Street shop is set to shut in Braintree town centre.
Shoe Zone has installed closing down signs on its front windows.
It is not yet known when the shop will shut.
The retailer announced earlier this week it would be forced to close a fifth of its store due to high business rates on the High Street.
Boss Anthony Smith said Shoe Zone would have to close 100 of its UK stores unless changes were made to property taxes.
Shoe Zone was contacted but a spokesman said the firm was unable to comment.
It is understood there is a chance the store could remain open as negotiations over its future continue.
