SUPER Bennie Westwood is set to become an honorary citizen of Warrington on Monday.

The popular forward retired at the end of last season after starring for the Wolves since 2002.

And he will be recognised at the full council meeting next week.

He was originally due for the honour before Christmas although agreed to delay the ceremony in the wake of the death of former council leader Terry O’Neill.
