IT SEEMS Henley is the place to be for those with a little bit more cash to spend on properties in Oxfordshire.

Of the top ten most expensive properties to rent in the county, six are in the south Oxfordshire town.

Property website Zoopla has revealed the plushest properties currently on the market, with two in Henley tied as the most expensive.

A three bedroom bungalow in Valley Road and a four bedroom house in Manor Road will both set you back a whopping £19,500 a month.

Both properties are available through Penny & Sinclair, which has seven of the top ten.

The remaining three come via Farrell Lewis Estates, Stepping Stone and Adkin.

It is no surprise that all the properties have multiple bedrooms, with only one featuring just two bedrooms - a terraced house in Greys Hill, Henley.

Indeed, three of the properties have six bedrooms - two houses in Headington and a farmhouse in Wantage.

Data from Zoopla shows the average price paid for a property in Oxfordshire for the last 12 months is £406,283.

According to a Zoopla estimate, the current average value is is just under £440,000, an increase of 3.43 per cent.
