A 22-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with wounding after a stabbing in Keighley.
Police received reports of a stabbing in the area on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Operation Jemlock team descended on the scene.
A 22-year-old was detained.
The District Criminal Investigation Department (CID) conducted an investigation.
The man was then charged with wounding under the Offences against the Person Act 1861, section 18.
He was remanded into custody.
This was the 2302nd arrest since Operation Jemlock began in April 2019.
It is a dedicated initiative focused on targeting knife and violent crime.
Three female teenagers were arrested as part of the operation at the start of last week.
