LATEST: PM gives green light to HS2 appointing dedicated minister for the project
HS2 has been given the go-ahead by Boris Johnson in Parliament today.
The Prime Minister confirmed the news moments ago.
Opposition leader, Jeremy Corbyn spoke following the announcement to flag up potential issues in a report/statement handed to him by Johnson.
