Police found suspected drugs and a large amount of cash after a car stop and search.
Officers stopped the Vauxhall Astra in Cheltenham Road, Southend last night, Thursday 23 January, and found a number of wraps.
Two men aged 24 and 22, both from the Southend area, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.
A 22-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm in connection with an incident in which a man was threatened and suffered a minor stab wound to his hand in Westcliff on Wednesday 22 January.
He was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs and possession of drugs.
They remain in custody for questioning.
