TRAIN services are back to normal after passengers were left behind in Southend.
Services have resumed after line-side equipment at Southend East, encountered issues this morning, causing delays for passengers travelling to and from Southend.
The equipment had "problems" at around 7.30am this morning, meaning some trains travelling from Thorpe Bay to Southend Central did not stop at Southend East.
The problems were resolved around an hour later.
c2c tweeted: "Due to a problem with line-side equipment at Southend East: Train services running through this station are returning to normal, but some services have been revised."
