A TEENAGE boy has been in connection with two robberies in Leigh.
The 16-year-old, from Leigh, was arrested at around 11.30am on suspicion of robbery and he remains in custody for questioning.
The arrest follows an appeal for information about robberies at Eastwood Food and Wine, in Rayleigh Road, and Cambridge News, in Eastwood Road North, on Tuesday January 14.
The suspect left with cash and alcohol from one store.
There were no reported injuries.
