Police will escort an 'abnormal load' from Portland to Poole tomorrow
Dorset Police has warned motorists that they will be escorting an 'abnormal load' from Portland to Poole tomorrow.
A spokesperson for the force said: "An abnormal load is due to travel from Portland to Poole with a police escort at around 10am on Thursday 12 December 2019. We would like to thank motorists for their patience.
They could not go into details of what the load is, but could confirm that it iws being transported between the Sunseeker sites at both locations. A spokesman for Dorset Police added: "This is a routine thing we do to ensure road safety."
