JAMIE O’Hara has challenged his Billericay Town side to bounce back from their early FA Trophy exit by climbing the National League South standings.

Billericay were knocked out of the competition by Hampton & Richmond Borough in the third qualifying round in midweek.

But player-manager O’Hara insists his side are fully focused on bagging three points when high-flying Havant & Waterlooville make the journey to New Lodge tomorrow.

“They are all big games,” said O’Hara.

“Sitting down with the owners, it would have been great to have a little FA Trophy run after a great run in the FA Cup.

“That wasn’t to be as it went against us.

“But we will concentrate on the league and try to push up the table. That’s all we can try to do.

“We have a good squad of players now where I believe we can really make something happen.

“We are playing great football and exciting to watch.

“Teams don’t want to play against us so it’s going to be a tough game for Havant as well.”

Having suffered relegation from the top tier of non-league football last term, Havant have made a promising start in their quest to bounce back with an immediate promotion.

Havant are currently third in the National League South standings and are five points adrift of leaders Wealdstone.

Billericay, meanwhile, are 10th and could move up to as high as seventh with all three points tomorrow.

Queens Park Rangers loanee Themis Kefalas could return from suspension.
