Mr Kendrick said: "We're looking for people wearing anything to do with Christmas to join us and help carry toys and money buckets. We have 20 Christmas hats too for anyone who joins.

"Last year nearly 1,700 children got presents, and this year we expect to help even more. However, this year we are especially short on selection boxes."
