POLICE are appealing for information after a cyclist suffered life-changing injuries in a hit and run crash.
The cyclist, a man in his 40's, was rushed to hospital after being hit by what is reported to be a black Mercedes at the junction of Tudor Road and West Road, in Westcliff, on Wednesday, at 5.30pm.
A spokesman for Essex Police, said: "We would ask if you were in the area the time saw the incident or have dash cam footage to please call Southern Roads Policing Unit on 101 quoting incident 0845 of 20 November.
"Information can also be given completely anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or visiting crimestoppers-uk.org."
