A BASILDON schoolboy appeared in a popular hospital TV drama.
Louie Coghlan, nine, starred in BBC One’s Holby City alongside stars such as actress Patsy Kensit.
He auditioned for talent agency Daisy and Dukes, following in the steps of his 13-year-old sister who is signed with the agency and was called up for the role.
Mum Michelle said she suggested her son sign to the agency as a joke and it went from there.
She said: “He really enjoyed being on the show and played Patsy Kensit’s son.
“He was a bit nervous and overwhelmed at first but then quickly got into the swing of it.
“We all sat down to watch the show as a family and Louie loved it and filmed it from the television.”
“I am very proud of both the children and looking forward to whatever they do next.”
