A MAN charged with causing with a crash that left two teenagers with ‘life-changing injuries’ has denied any wrongdoing and elected to face trial.

Andrew Bradley, of Kingfishers, Grove, made his first appearance at Oxford Crown Court this afternoon.

The 28-year old, smartly dressed in a shirt, suit and tie, pleaded not guilty to two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Prosecutors claim Bradley was driving his Ford Focus at the time of the crash on October 28.

It is alleged that because of his ‘dangerous’ driving he crashed the vehicle while travelling on the B4507 at Westcot, near Uffington.

This collision led to two teenagers in the car suffering serious injuries which were reported to be ‘life-changing’.

The pair, who were sitting in the back of the silver vehicle, were both taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

Police were called to the scene shortly after 1am.

After the pleas had been entered today a trial date was set which will be held at the same court and is expected to last up to four days.

That trial will be held on January 6 next year.

Bradley was released on unconditional bail in the meantime.
