A 13-YEAR-OLD boy was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening after being knocked down on his way to school.
The boy was walking north in Chapel Park Road in St Leonards with a friend at 10.45am today (Tuesday) when he was hit by a dark blue vehicle described as ‘Ford Mondeo-sized’.
The car did not stop and the boy returned home.
He was taken to the Conquest Hospital in Hastings where he was diagnosed with potentially life-threatening injuries.
He was airlifted to Kings College Hospital in London on Tuesday afternoon.
Anybody with information on the car or its driver should call 101 quoting Operation Alton.
