I DON’T wish to disappoint Middlewick campaigner Julie Ennifer but under the stewardship of Cllr Tim Young this coalition council signed up to building 1,000 houses on this site as part of its Local Plan in 2017.
Any retrospective protestations from Cllr Tim Young and the Colchester Labour Party are therefore rather disingenuous.
If there is one thing this coalition council has been good at it is building houses, lots of them.
Sadly for us we can see the negative impact building car dependent housing estates, without infrastructure, is having.
The Colchester Conservatives would do things differently and perhaps after May’s local elections we will get the chance to show you how.
