A MAN in his 20s has suffered serious head and internal injuries following a serious collision in Great Bardfield.
He has been flown to hospital for treatment.
A green Ford KA and a red Nissan Qashqai were in collision in Braintree Road shortly before 11.45am, on Saturday, February 23.
Four people inside the Qashqai were not seriously injured, but the driver of the KA remains in hospital.
No-one has been arrested, but police are appealing for information.
A number of motorcyclists or cyclists are believed to have helped at the scene and police need to speak to them to see if they have any information about the collision.
It is also believed that there may be some photos of the collision or the moments after and police need to speak to anyone who has got images or footage as it may help them to understand exactly what’s happened.
The road was closed while police investigated.
