A SWEET delight has moved across York centre to concentrate on keeping the city a chocolate making city.
York Cocoa House has transferred its operations from its chocolate shop in Blake Street to its chocolate production centre at York Cocoa Works on Castlegate.
Founder Sophie Jewett has pledged that all its products, services, workshops and bookings will continue at the Castlegate premises.
In a message to her customers she says: "The Cocoa Works has opened up so many exciting opportunities for us to bring stronger connections across the supply chain ....
"We came to realise that our energies are best focused making the most of these opportunities ahead and in creating one focused and outstanding chocolate destination for our visitors to discover and enjoy."
York Cocoa House chocolate shop opened in 2011 and York Cocoa Works, which includes a chocolate-focused cafe, in Easter this year.
In the autumn, it featured on the chocolate episode of the BBC2 series Made in Great Britain, along with other chocolate related venues in York.
