POLICE are hunting for a motorist who didn't stop after a crash with a motorcyclist.

A 16-year-old-boy was riding in Church Lane, Braintree, when he was involved in a smash with a car at the junction with Coldnailhurst Avenue.

The car driver didn't stop and the boy suffered a broken wrist.

The vehicle has been described as a small, dark coloured car or car derived van, similar to a Ford Fiesta or a Vauxhall Corsa.

Police want to speak to the driver about the circumstances of the crash which happened at 6.55pm on Thursday, November 11.

The driver or any witnesses should contact PC Rob Cleal in the Stanway Roads Policing Unit on 101.
