Person hit by car in Benfleet
A main road in Thundersley has been blocked after a person was hit by a car.
Traffic is moving slowly in Kiln Road after reports of an accident involving a person who is now receiving treatment at the side of the road.
The road is partially blocked at the junction with Shipwrights Drive.
Traffic moving eastbound is queuing back towards High Road and westbound back towards High Street, Hadleigh.
The Echo has contacted the East of England Ambulance Service following the incident.
