Trains will be blocked between Shenfield, Wickford and Southend Victoria until Thursday.
Greater Anglia are undertaking engineering works between the three stations, which will see the line closed after 9.25pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
The last train from Southend to London Liverpool Street will be 9pm.
The last train back to Southend from London will be at around 8.15pm.
The train will be the last to pass through Rayleigh, Hockley, Rochford, Southend Airport and Prittlewell.
Bus replacement services will take passengers to stations between Shenfield, Wickford and Southend Victoria.
