THE Essex police, fire and crime commissioner is holding a public meeting in Springfield.

The meeting is taking place on Tuesday, July 17 between 6.30pm and 8pm at Beaulieu Community Centre, Centenary Way.

Mr Hirst said: “I hold regular public meetings across the length and breadth of the county.

"They are a great way to hear from local communities directly about concerns they may have and areas of activity that are in place and working well.

"Very often a joint approach is the answer to a problem.

“With a panel of experts on hand, our public meetings are a great way to find the solutions together.”

Jane Gardner, the deputy police, fire and crime commissioner for Essex will be chairing this meeting.

She will be joined by Chief Inspector Gerry Parker, the district commander for Chelmsford as well as representatives from Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and the local Community Safety Partnership.
